TIDBRF 2013 Sport Division - General Information:

2013 Sport Division Returns! We’ve made some revisions for Sport Open and Sport Women

General Information (Sport Division):

Available Sport Division Categories: Open (Revised); Women (Revised)

All crews must be DBC members.

All paddlers on Sport Division Crews must be a member of DBC through their club membership.

In any case where there is a conflict in rules within the Sport Division, DBC/IDBF rules will supersede TIDBRF.

Life jacket exemption in effect (Sport Division only). *Life jackets must be in the boat.

Race distances for Sport Division will consist of 200m and 500m.

Crew composition for Sport Division will be identical to current TIDBRF roster guidelines.

Photo ID – only current DBC issued picture ID will be accepted.

All DBC clubs are responsible to register and provide DBC with all information/picture to ensure DBC picture ID will be manufactured in time (at least three weeks prior to TIDBRF).

Sport Open (Revised for 2013)
Sport Open will consist of 1x500m heat (Saturday), 1x200m final (Sunday) and 1x500m final (Sunday).
Cost: $750 + HST
Sport Open will be limited to the first six registered crews.
*Winning crew received free entry into 2014 Sport Open TIDBRF.

Sport Women (Revised for 2013)
Sport Women will consist of 1x500m heat (Saturday), 1x200m final (Sunday) and 1x500m final (Sunday).
Cost: Cost: $750 + HST
Sport Open will be limited to the first six registered crews.
*Winning crew received free entry into 2014 Sport Women TIDBRF
